Important Guest Room Information
As a Mccormick resident, you are permitted to reserve a room 7 days per month. Two guest rooms may be reserved at the same time, but the total number of days counts towards the 7 day per month allotted. These may include no more than 2 weekends and no more than 5 nights in succession.
Payment must be made at the time the reservation is made – otherwise it can not be accepted. Checks should be made out to MIT.
Rooms reserved for the weekends or Institute holidays will not receive housekeeping service. In the event there is a turnover during this time period, clean sheets and towels are provided in the drawers of the bureau.
Each guest room has a half bath (a toilet and sink ONLY). Guests are not permitted to use the showers on the floor.
Each guest room has a twin size bed. If the hostess is expecting 2 people, a cot needs to be reserved at the time the reservation is made. Cots are $3 the first night and $1 extra for each additional night. The cost of the guest room is $15 per night. With a cot, the room would be $18 for the first night and $16 for each additional night.
Checkout time is 11am!
If you wish to cancel a reservation, it must be done at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise the first night’s charge is non-refundable.
